Miss Micheletti:

I started Cottage Industry Core in 2022 as an exercise in creativity and pacing myself. How can I explore my creative practice without burning myself out? I produce all my offerings in small batches in my home studio, with the support of my partner and cat. I knit and weave by hand, and for my finer-weight offerings like Socks and Mug Mitts, I hand-crank the fabric through a circular sock knitting machine!! I try to source my materials from area thrift shops, creative reuse stores, and leftovers from personal projects, even facebook marketplace. I recycle and reuse yarn typically considered 'waste' in the machine-knitting process. I also have designed several smaller items specifically to use 'leftovers' from my standard-size offerings.

Working as Alexa.G Illustration is an illustrator, designer & visual storyteller based out of Philadelphia PA. She primarily works in watercolor and mixed media collage. Her whimsical and colorful art focuses on fantasy, folklore and the intersection of magic and the everyday. When not practicing the small magics of creation and drinking copious amounts of coffee, she can be found hanging out with her husband, kiddos and cats, reading or maybe rolling a few dice and playing pretend.

Dominic Moret

My paintings have been created throughout the years to mimic, reflect and speak to life. Identity and symbolism is huge in my work that seeks to connect with its viewers. At the Craft Convention I will be selling my vibrant acrylic paintings in various forms. These paintings have been transformed into magnets, coasters, keychains, tote bags, stickers and t-shirts. Each item is a copy of my original art that has been made accessible for your needs and enjoyment.

Melissa Hough is a mixed media artist with a fine arts background who strives to create a whimsical and ideal world through her art. She focuses on the delightful and occasionally the silly, often through playful depictions of animals. Melissa loves to combine media to create artwork that feels touched by human hands and heart. She experiments with materials to come up with one of a kind results. She is back at the Craft Coven Convention this October and looking forward to connecting!

Butch & Bits is a Philly-based queer artist offering stickers, nostalgic keychains, and an assortment of prints and tiny paintings.

Goo Dollz are whimsical plushies, keychains, and decorative pillows made from recycled fabrics. Some Dollz have sensory elements like crunchy ears and wings, bendable tails, and clacker beads. Guided by sustainability and accessibility, Goo Dollz strives to use second-hand and upcycled materials and follow design principles that appeal to all. Consider them eco-friendly labubus!

Soft N Curlee

I am a designer and seamstress who makes one-of-a-kind romantic garments based on historical silhouettes and fantasy. These pieces are designed for lovers of unconventional fashion, self expression, and whimsy. Most of the materials and fabric I utilize are second-hand.
